PENSACOLA, FLA.— The Commanding Officer ,Naval Air Station Pensacola, has ordered a return to normal operations effective Thursday, August 30. All NAS Pensacola employees should report for work at their regularly scheduled time unless notified otherwise by their supervisor.

The National Naval Aviation Museum and other base facilities will be open for normal business.

NAS Pensacola officials expect the Sailors and Marines evacuated to Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany to return to NAS Pensacola beginning about 3 p.m., Thursday, August 30.

Aircraft from Training Air Wing SIX and USAF 479th Flying Training Group evacuated to bases in Texas should return to NAS Pensacola on Friday.

NAS Pensacola suffered minimal damage as the result of Hurricane Isaac.
